Howdens Joinery, the manufacturer and supplier of fitted kitchens, appliances and joinery products, is set to open a new branch at Coedcae Lane Industrial Estate in Pontyclun, South Wales.
Howdens has taken units G1-G2 at the Estate which comprises 11,204 sq ft of industrial / trade counter space on a 15 year lease. Cushman & Wakefield and Jenkins Best agreed the deal on behalf of the landlord, Wagner Developments Limited.
The unit has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment and is located on an estate approximately three miles north of junction 34 of the M4 motorway.
Rob Ladd of Cushman & Wakefield’s Logistics & Industrial team said: “The new letting to Howdens bears testament to our client’s proactive approach towards refurbishing the units at Coedcae Lane Industrial Estate. With Travis Perkins and Screwfix also existing tenants on the estate, it is now firmly acknowledged as an established trade counter location.”
Anthony Jenkins of Jenkins Best added: “Wagner Developments is now undertaking a refurbishment of Block F at the Estate which, once complete, will provide a further c.20,000 sq ft of detached warehousing space with yard.”
