GN2, the London property agency business has advised a private investor on the sale of 12-13 Essex Street, WC2 to owner occupier GlobalData Plc.
GlobalData is one of the largest data and insights solutions provider in the world and has acquired the 23,000 sq ft self-contained property for in excess of £21 million.
This deal comes on the back of the GN2 advising Charles Taylor, the UK insurance giant on the acquisition of space at The Minster Building, EC3 for its new 66,000 sq ft City HQ. Charles Taylor had previously occupied 12-13 Essex Street, along with offices in 1 Portsoken Street, E1 and 88 Leadenhall Street, EC2, before the decision to consolidate in one new London HQ.
