CBRE and Savills appointed joint agents at Arndale House, Manchester

M&G Real Estate and intu have appointed two of the most active agents in the Manchester office Market, CBRE and Savills, as joint agents for the Arndale House office scheme in Manchester where a number of floors are becoming available to let following tenant relocations to new buildings.

CBRE and Savills will be taking the role of leasing advisors and will market the office space at a time of heightened occupier demand. In addition to the appointment, the joint venture is looking to refurbish some office space and common parts within the office tower to create modern facilities in line with the evolving occupier needs.

The ongoing refurbishments will also offer prospective tenants the opportunity to choose the layout of the space they are looking to occupy. Businesses will be able to design their own bespoke space that will fulfil their individual requirements and will create a comfortable working environment for their employees.

Kannika Mall, Asset Manager at M&G Real Estate comments on behalf of the joint venture:

“The appointment of CBRE and Savills at Arndale House was a logical step and we are confident that their robust and extensive network of contacts as well as their wealth of experience and expertise in the market will be extremely valuable as we work to re-let floors becoming available this year.

“The Manchester office market currently offers a limited supply of Grade A office stock which is creating an increasing demand for new space. Therefore, the ongoing refurbishments we are planning at the building will align closely with occupier needs within the city.”

Jonathan Cook from CBRE comments on behalf of the joint agents:

“CBRE and Savills are delighted to be advising M&G Real Estate and Intu on the letting of Arndale House. The planned refurbishment will reposition the building as one of the most prominent office towers in the city, with an occupancy ratio of 1:6 sqm and very efficient floorplates, on-site amenity that cannot be beaten, and unrivalled views of Greater Manchester, all at a very competitive rent.”
