Leading property consultancy Commercial Property Partners LLP (CPP) has facilitated eight property deals on behalf of Sterling Industrial in the first quarter of 2018, the company has revealed.
A hotbed for growing industrial businesses in the Barnsley and Doncaster area, Armthorpe Business Centre, Harworth Enterprise Park and Mitchells Enterprise Centre offer business units ranging in size from 1,000 sq ft – 4,000 sq ft.
Sterling Industrial, the commercial landlord of multi-let estates across the UK, appointed the industrial property agents at CPP to market the vacant units with the view to let all complexes at maximum capacity.
New tenants secured for Mitchells Enterprise Centre – the small, modern industrial estate four miles south east of Barnsley which provides excellent access to the M1 – include: bespoke joinery and fitted furniture specialist Jamie Jackson Joinery Ltd; and BSW Group, the international specialists in the design, manufacture and installation of Council transport infrastructure.
This follows the announcement of new tenants secured for Armthorpe Business Centre, a key industrial site just four miles north east of Doncaster, which include Eltherm UK Ltd; the international manufacturer of electrical heat tracing systems.
Further new tenants have been announced for Harworth Enterprise Park, the modern industrial estate approximately ten miles south of Doncaster, which include Peak Mechanical Services Ltd, the mechanical and utilities provider, amongst others.
Max Pickering, Assistant Surveyor at CPP’s Yorkshire office, commented: “We are delighted to have secured new tenants for Armthorpe Business Centre, Harworth Enterprise Park and Mitchells Enterprise Centre, ensuring that all three sites are now operating at full capacity.
“The area surrounding Barnsley and Doncaster remains a major centre for industrial businesses, within easy reach of key transport infrastructure that includes numerous major cities and one of the UK’s busiest cargo airports, Doncaster Sheffield. As part of our transactional team representing both landlords and tenants, we are noticing ever increasing interest from companies targeting the area.”
Jeff Gibb, Asset Manager at Sterling Industrial, commented: “We welcome all new tenants to the Sterling Industrial estates, alongside the many other businesses that have been attracted to the developments.
“While the Barnsley-Doncaster area is a great location for an industrial business to establish themselves owing to the great transport links and infrastructure, we would like to thank CPP for their hard work in securing full tenancy following their marketing and liaison efforts.”
