Following the appointment by Taurus Developments and LaSalle Investment Management (‘La Salle’) of Marbank Construction as the contractor to build ‘Velocity’ in Havant, work began this week on the eight month build programme.
Practical Completion is scheduled for December 2018. Once complete, Velocity will provide excellent opportunities for industrial and distribution occupiers to occupy premium new build units located within the town’s main industrial area. The 4.85 acre site on Stanbridge Road also has excellent road links to the A27, M27 and A3(M) corridors, and is within walking distance of both Havant town centre and railway station.
The completed the scheme will comprise 101,000 sq ft of industrial/warehouse and office space arranged over three units ranging from approx. 25,500 sq ft – 45,000 sq ft.

“The industrial sector has seen substantial growth over the last 18 months and demand for well located, premium space is beginning to impact the region. The site is ready to build on now as all demolition and ground works have been completed and we look forward to swift progress over the coming months.”
