CBRE’s annual breakfast property update is taking place in Bristol on Wednesday 20th June 2012 from 8am. To reflect the growing interest in the retail sector in the region an overview of this market will be included for the first time. The breakfast event will also offer an assessment of the current state of the commercial property market, focusing on national and regional trends and issues, plus commentary on the future market outlook.
Over 150 senior representatives from major local businesses, banks, solicitors, accountants, investors, developers, local authorities and regeneration agencies are expected to attend the event, which is to be held at The Bristol Hotel, Prince Street, Bristol.
Five key speakers will each deliver an address. Andrew Marston, CBRE’s research director for the regions, will provide an economic overview and will examine the impact of the economy on the property market in the South West as well as emerging trends. Senior director of investment at CBRE in Bristol, Andrew Sayner, will look at the overall investment market. Philip Morton, senior director, who heads up CBRE’s agency and development team, will provide an overview of the region’s office market and emerging trends. Richard Moore, director of retail and leisure – Bristol will assess the impact of the internet on the local market and James Broome, director of residential in Bristol will discuss the residential market and the current lack of supply of new city centre units.
