The Blade, Reading’s tallest building has completed 26,000 sq ft of office deals to take its occupancy level to almost 90% let. The iconic building comprises 110,000 sq ft of top specification offices over 14 floors and is 86 metres high.
Pure Offices has signed a 15 year lease on the 3rd and 4th floors, comprising 17,000 sq ft. Megabuyte has expanded into a 1st floor larger suite comprising 4,500 sq ft on a 10 year lease. Cloud Factory has taken 2,500 sq ft on the 7th floor for a term of three years and Northwood Investors has taken 2,500 sq ft on the 2nd floor on a 5 year term.
Nick Turner, Asset Management Director at Northwood Investors, commented: “The Blade continues to be one of the most high profile buildings in the Thames Valley and has an enviable occupier line up. Pure Offices is opening across two floors this month to provide the best serviced office space the city has ever seen. We now have just 14,000 sq ft available across the fifth floor and part of the seventh floor, with good levels of interest.”
