AEW’s South East Office Fund has announced that it has secured the letting of 2 buildings on Mulberry Business Park in Wokingham. The office estate is situated along Fishponds Road, just off Molly Millars Lane in the centre of Wokingham’s commercial hub.
Rubra 2 and Alba House, 8,000 sq.ft and 3,500 sq.ft respectively, have been let to Global Knowledge, who are specialists in technology training. The offices provide modern accommodation situated on a business park with ample parking, just a short walk to Wokingham train station and Town Centre.
Michael Shears, Director, AEW said “We are delighted to welcome Global Knowledge to our buildings, which has followed the successful letting of Rubra 1 last year to TaxCalc. This new letting has meant that our ownership is now 100% let, a clear demonstration of our successful refurbishment strategy.”
Kieran Webber from Page Hardy Harris comments “It’s great to see that Global Knowledge have decided to stay within Wokingham and commit to a new 5 year Lease on Mulberry Business Park. Wokingham is currently benefiting from around £138 million of investment across 4 key redevelopment areas which will provide new retail space, a cinema, hotel and residential. The continuing improvement of the town will support the upward trend of office rents in Wokingham and a steady increase is expected over the coming years.”
Simon Fryer of Fryer Commercial comments “I first dealt with Mulberry Business Park in the 1980s and I’m pleased to note it has stayed up to scratch, with among the best office parking ratios in Berkshire.”
