On behalf of a local private property investor, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell has let Unit C2 Oak Park Industrial Estate, Northarbour Road to Quattro Foods.
Established in Portsmouth in 2010, Quattro Foods provides food solutions throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide. Quattro’s clients include well-known restaurant chains, thriving start-ups and individual outlets, as well as being a supplier to NHS Wales and the education sector, for which it provides bespoke food development solutions.
With its main manufacturing site in Portfield Road, Quattro has seen its business expand substantially in the last three years and started looking for additional premises that would allow the business to expand further. At the end of 2017, it identified Oak Park Industrial Estate as an opportunity, taking a new 10-year lease on the 7,667 sq ft unit at C2.
A comprehensive £330,000 fit-out programme commenced, and the business will expand into its additional unit on 10th April 2018.
Commenting on the expansion, Quattro Foods Managing Director Sam Brower says:
“This year has already been a hugely exciting one for Quattro Foods and we are delighted about the forthcoming expansion into Northarbour in early April. With the opportunity to fit out our new premises from scratch, we have been able to include state of the art equipment that will enable us to continue to grow the business further, as well as creating around 20 new jobs for local people”
Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell director, Tom Holloway adds:
“We have secured several new tenants to Oak Park Industrial Estate over the last six months and with their significant investment in upgrading the units has made a big difference to the local area. With diverse businesses such as Quattro Foods and Ecarlogical expanding their requirements, this area of Portsmouth is becoming increasingly popular with occupiers looking for well located premises which are simply not available in or close to the city centre.”
