A UK and overseas-based development group has signalled its expansion plans by moving to new headquarters in Hampshire.
PNH Properties Group has taken occupancy of a 2,717 sq ft first-floor office suite at 8 Rotherbrook Court, Bedford Road, Petersfield.
Hughes Ellard, the independent commercial property consultancy covering the Solent region, acted for a private landlord in securing the 10-year lease at £36,000 per annum.
Founded 19 years ago by managing director Peter Hunt, the 10-strong PNH team specialises in land assembly and delivery for residential, commercial and leisure developments.
Under the Peter Nicholas Homes brand, the firm has nine residential sites at different development stages and ranging in size from 12 to 89 properties across Hampshire, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight.
Peter said: “We are rapidly increasing our multi-family housing site portfolio, funded by a far-sighted mix of internal funding, bank lending and private investment finance.
“With the same successful funding formula, we also continue to grow our commercial property and leisure development portfolio both here in the UK and overseas.
“We’re grateful to Russell Mogridge at Hughes Ellard for sourcing our exciting new headquarters as there is so little quality office accommodation along the A3 corridor. Our new base is ideal for taking the business to the next level.”
Russell, a director at Hughes Ellard, with offices in Fareham and Southampton, said: “PNH is a well-established business committed to delivering much-needed family homes to the region as the government looks to deliver 1.5 million new homes by 2022.”
He added: “Our client Criddlestream acquired the office property as an investment in 2013. It was originally let to Sage, and they are delighted Hughes Ellard has found an exciting and progressive tenant. There is little availability in Petersfield – this thriving office campus, just off the A3, has excellent road and rail links to the South Coast and London.”
PNH’s commercial developments include Passfield Business Centre near Liphook, Newhaven Industrial Park, Newhaven, East Sussex, and Castlegrove Business Park, Bogor, West Sussex.
On the leisure side, the firm is involved in Port Lucya Marketplace, a 9.5-acre waterside development in the Grand Bahamas – the largest shopping, dining and entertainment open-air facility in the Bahamas.
PNH relocated 11 miles from Passfield to Rotherbrook Court; occupiers in the vicinity include Handelsbanken, NFU, Vitality, Whitman Laboratories and Frazer-Nash Manufacturing.
