An extensive refurbishment programme is close to completion at one of the biggest industrial facilities in central Bristol.
Oakwood Park, a 95,000 sq ft premises, will offer high-quality production/warehouse space when the works have been completed. It can be sub-divided into self-contained warehouse space from 15,000 sq ft.
Tim Davies, Head of the Bristol office at Colliers International, joint agents with Russell Property Consultants, said: “There is severe lack of supply of high-quality industrial stock in the Bristol area, with vacancy rates now at 4%.
“In particular there is an unprecedented shortage of big sheds in the South West in general and in Bristol in particular, with occupiers competing aggressively for available space. Oakwood Park is expected to attract interest from a range of end-users, especially from businesses who need to be city centre based.”
Rob Russell, director at Russell Property Consultants, added: “The refurbishment works at this premises, which was previously a car supermarket, will offer potential users a large, well-presented industrial/warehouse space in a strategic location in close proximity to Bristol city centre and the M32.”
Oakwood Park is located on a 5.6 acre site with a gatehouse entrance on the B4048 Lodge Causeway in Fishponds, just 1.5 miles from Junction 2 of the M32 motorway and around four miles from Bristol city centre.
It comprises three self-contained warehouses, all with two storey offices and amenities, level loading doors, extensive yards and ample car parking.
