RPMI Railpen, advised by GCW and Knight Frank, has agreed deals with Primark and Lidl UK at St Anns Shopping Centre in Harrow. Primark is relocating its store within the centre to the former BHS store and will trade over 43,000 sq ft of retail space, whilst Lidl is opening a new store comprising 14,230 sq ft.
RPMI Railpen has also simultaneously pre-let the ground floor of the existing Primark store, comprising 14,230 sq ft, to Lidl on a 25-year lease. The new Lidl store will be located adjacent to Harrow’s main transport hub and will boast facilities such as an in store bakery, longer-style tills with dual packing and self-service checkouts.
Richard van Lente, Asset Manager at RPMI Railpen, commented: “We recently took the management of this centre back in-house and are looking to undertake a refurbishment of the centre within the next 18 months. We are delighted that Primark has chosen to expand within St Anns and that we will also be welcoming a new Lidl store.”
Located opposite Harrow on the Hill station, St Anns is home to over 40 high street brands including H&M, Primark, M&S, Schuh and Tiger, along with a dedicated food court on the first floor. The centre is open seven days a week and has its own 940 space car park.
Primark was represented by CBRE and Lidl represented themselves in the transactions.
