Sanderson Weatherall has once again been named as the most active commercial property agent in the North East.
The award, which is widely regarded as one of the top accolades for real estate agents, is awarded for transactions completed between January 1st and December 31st 2017.
In the past year Sanderson Weatherall’s Newcastle and Teesside teams let or sold a total of over 2million sq ft of office, investment, retail, leisure and industrial space across the North East, topping the tables for the 6th year in a row.
Across the year the firm had involvement in a number of landmark deals, including the £20million investment sale of St James Gate, the largest out of town office letting to Northumbria Water at Spectrum and a 32,000 sq ft letting to food retailer Lidl, amongst others.
Robert Patterson, head of commercial agency at Sanderson Weatherall commented, “We are delighted to once again win this award, confirming our position as the leading agency in the region. Our expertise, local knowledge and full service offering means we are best placed to advise across a variety of sectors and the fact that we ranked in the top five regional firms for retail, industrial, office and investment is testament to this fact.”
The award comes following the recent appointment of Chris Dent who strengthens the firms full service commercial agency offering across the North East.
