A leading commercial agency has grown its West Midlands arm to cope with ongoing demand as it continues to work on a number of major instructions.
Fisher German has appointed Lewis Giles at its Worcester office and Luke Dodge at its Halesowen office as graduate surveyors.
They will work on a range of developments including Ratio Park, in Kidderminster and Asparagus Point, in Evesham, as they both work towards passing their APC professional qualifications.
The firm has made the appointments after completing a substantial amount of deals across the industrial, office, retail and investment markets in 2017.
Fisher German conducted 241 separate commercial transactions over the course of the year.
The commercial team collected £12.5 million in rents and marketed around 2.5 million sq ft of commercial space.
This growth is further strengthened by the continued professional development of current staff members across both offices, including surveyor Luke Weaver who has passed his APC and achieved Chartered status and commercial agency assistant Lauren Allcoat who has achieved her AssocRics award.
The commercial team in Worcester is continuing to work on high-profile developments including Nunnery Park, Great Western Business Park and Asparagus Point, all located in Worcestershire, while the team in Halesowen continues its work on Hartlebury Trading Estate and numerous other projects in the Midlands market.
Duncan Bedhall, Commercial Sector Head at Fisher German, said: “The new appointments are a reflection of our continuing success and the work we are picking up, from major, prestigious instructions through to smaller developments.
“We have varying levels of experience, from graduates through to partners with more than 20 years of experience, which enables us to service this range of demands.
“It is just over 12 months since Halls (Midlands) LLP, which included both the Worcester and Halesowen offices, consolidated with Fisher German and we have had an extremely busy year.
“We were named as Most Active Agent for Worcestershire 2017 by Estates Gazette for the fifth year in a row and have already seen a number of new instructions coming forward in 2018.
“Going forward we will look to continue to successfully serve our clients while continuing to grow and strengthen our commercial team.”
