Wiggins and Lockett have completed the acquisition for South Staffordshire Vehicle Hire of a 2 acre plot of land on Hortonwood Industrial Estate in Telford. The plot, formally occupied by ABB and used partially as a helipad and workshops, is to be occupied by SSH as their business expands from their existing Hortonwood 7 location.
Anthony Wiggins who handled the acquisition said;
“We understand that there was a significant competition for this site and it has taken a substantial amount of time and perseverance to secure it for our clients. Land in Telford is notoriously difficult to acquire so we are delighted that we have managed to secure this land, enabling our clients to develop their business further. We have a number of other clients wishing to acquire land in the area for substantial projects but are unable to easily secure land despite having funds ready to do so.”

“We have been looking for a site to relocate the business for over 18 months, it has been a long and hard process. Finding the ideal site that allows future growth and expansion for the business was proving to be near impossible. Going forward together with Wiggins & Lockett we have further plans for development on the site that should benefit local businesses in the years to come”
