In the last 18 months, the Romsey based consulting civil and structural engineering company WFBA has increased its professional team from 18 to 27 and with additional staff and student placements due between now and this summer, the company is preparing to expand its offices. It has secured additional premises that will increase their accommodation by over 50% and will also incorporate a new reception area, seminar and meeting rooms, and enable the busy team to exhibit past and current projects.
WFBA Director Nick Groves says that the new space will enable them to recruit additional experienced Engineers and Technicians to help meet demand for their wide range of construction and building services.
“We support large clients including Travelodge, McCarthy & Stone, Associated British Ports, as well as holding a diverse project portfolio for the marine, leisure and mainstream industrial and residential developers. Putting our clients first has meant that we have had limited time to focus on our own office facilities but we are now all set to expand by July.”
WFBA’s expansion allows them to widen the structural and civil engineering services they can provide to Clients, Architects, Developers and Planning Consultants across the South. The scale of project can vary from a £15,000 private home extension to a £35 million commercial development and turnover is expected to grow this year from £1.28million to £1.45million
