A global engineering firm has taken a 4,038 sq ft industrial unit at East Quay in Bridgwater following a deal brokered by Bruton Knowles.
Unit 2 Condor Quay is close to the A38 and the M5 and includes a warehouse, ground and first floor offices and a first floor mezzanine.
Will Nell from Bruton Knowles said: “The confidential tenant is a global firm with an existing base in the South West who needed expansion space.”
Unit 2 Condor Quay is a refurbished end terrace industrial unit and was let on a new FRI lease for a term of five years.
Will Nell added: “As is typical with many other locations there has been very little speculative construction of small business units in Bridgwater, hence an ongoing focus on refurbished space which is immediately ready to occupy.”
Will Nell also added: “Unit 19 at the Sedgemount Industrial Park just off the Bristol Road was taken by FBB South West Ltd.
“We put the unit on the market on behalf of landlord C2 Safety and had a strong offer on the table almost immediately from FBB, who wanted to be up and running in Bridgwater very quickly.”
“We are actively looking for more units as companies seek to shift their operations nearer Hinkley Point.”
Unit 19 Sedgemount offered 2,379 sq ft of office as well as useful industrial space.
