Developers Chase Commercial are partnering up with Wychavon District Council to develop a major expansion to Vale Business Park in Evesham, Worcestershire.
The site, owned by Wychavon District Council, equates to approximately 28 acres with capacity to deliver over 500,000 sq ft of new business accommodation to the south of Evesham.
Much of the land was recently zoned for commercial development in the South Worcestershire Development Plan and benefited from £800,000 Growth Deal funding from Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership to construct a new access road. This provides a great opportunity to bring new development, new enterprise and new jobs to the area. The Council’s partnership with Chase Commercial is set to exploit this opportunity and see prompt delivery of new business units to the market.

However, the space required is in short supply and investment is needed to open up designated employment land at Vale Business Park to enable new jobs to be secured for Evesham. Wychavon District Council is working in partnership with Chase Commercial to ensure Council-owned employment land is ready to respond to the needs of growing businesses and employers.”
Savills, Alder King and Timothy Lea & Griffiths have been instructed as the joint agents to market the scheme. Smaller units will be made available by the developer, specifically targeted to the flexible business needs of SMEs. There will also be opportunities for much larger units to meet individual occupier needs on a build to suit basis. The site is able to accommodate a single unit of up to 380,000 sq ft.
The developer aims to provide units either to let or to purchase for both small local businesses and national occupiers. The new scheme will complement the already well-established Vale Business Park which has existing occupiers including Countrywide Farmers, Travis Perkins, Primafruit, Matcon and Karndean.
