The Knight Frank Shopping Centre Leasing Team have won two new instructions, adding to the team’s ever-growing portfolio of shopping centre leasing instructions.
The team have added Riverside Stafford to its portfolio, acting on behalf of Legal & General. The scheme provides the leading retail and leisure destination in the town, and has a strong list of occupiers including River Island, Primark, Marks & Spencer, H&M and JD Sports.
This is the third instruction from Legal & General within Knight Frank’s expanding catalogue of shopping centres, which includes The Beacon Eastbourne, where the new 175,000 sq ft extension will open this November.
The team has also been instructed on the Grove Shopping Centre in Witham, on behalf of new client Praxis. Knight Frank provided investment advice to Praxis on their purchase of the centre, and have subsequently been retained as leasing agents.
Knight Frank’s Shopping Centre Leasing Team, which formed in early 2016, is now retained as leasing agents on over 2.7m sq ft of shopping centre space across the UK.
David Legat, Partner at Knight Frank commented: “This is a strong start to 2018 for the Shopping Centre Leasing team, gaining new instructions and new client. The team grew rapidly in 2017 and this early success in 2018 shows that we have continued to service our instructions to the highest standard over the past 12 months, as we set our sights on continuing this success for the next year.”
