The UK office of an international company headquartered in Canada is on the move in Cambridgeshire and will be relocating within St Neots.
Anaergia Ltd – a global leader in offering sustainable solutions for the generation of renewable energy and the conversion of waste to vital resources – will be the new occupier of Unit 4, Spencer Court, Howard Road, Eaton Socon, confirms property agency Barker Storey Matthews who acted on behalf of the landlord.
Based at Phoenix Park in St Neots for the past four years, the move sees Anaergia Ltd – one of Anaergia’s six offices worldwide, including its headquarters in Ontario – take up 264 sq m (2,842 sq ft) of office and production area space in the mid-terrace business unit.
The move is set to take place before July (2018) and the new premises give Anaergia Ltd a production/workshop space which is something the company does not have in the exclusively office configuration of its present location.
Commenting on the move, Sam Smith, Managing Director of Anaergia Ltd, said, “In seeking new premises, we were looking for commercial space to suit the adapting needs of the business which now require more than just purely office space.
“The new premises at Spencer Court meet our requirements not only in the type and size of space available, but also in retaining the convenience of the St Neots location.”
Richard Adam, Director, Barker Storey Matthews, who handled the letting through the property agency’s Huntingdon office, added, “Anaergia Ltd moved quickly to agree terms and secure its new premises in what is a competitive market for industrial units.
“There are relatively few available, currently, and our agents are always seeking new instructions in the St Neots area, across a range of unit sizes, particularly in the Howard Road/Little End districts.”
