Acting on behalf of MPS, the UK Development team at CBRE has sold the Scott Works site on Hollingwood Lane, Lidget Green in Bradford to Quora Bradford Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
The circa 6 acre site was formerly occupied by MPS (Field Packaging) and prior to that the Scotts Motorcycle company who built the site at the start of the 20th century. The site will be transformed into a new retail and leisure regeneration scheme which is expected to create some 185 new jobs.
Major supermarket chains Aldi and Home Bargains are among stores proposed for the site along with a number of smaller retail units, a Marsden’s family pub, restaurant and drive-thru restaurant.
