Blue Marble Asset Management (Blue Marble) has helped a growing Midlands’ law firm expand into a new Birmingham office.
Alongside its joint venture partner Antringham Developments, and acting on behalf of Pemberstone Group, the Birmingham-based real estate asset management specialist has let 2,500 sq ft of office space on the first floor of 63 Church Street, Birmingham, B3 2DP, to Harrison Clark Rickerbys, on a new five year lease, at a quoting rent of £19.50psf. Blue Marble was advised by letting agents KWB and Lambert Smith Hampton.
Regarded as the largest law firm headquartered between Birmingham and Bristol, Harrison Clark Rickerbys employs 450 staff in offices in Birmingham, Worcester, Cheltenham, Hereford, London, Ross-on-Wye and the Thames Valley. It is relocating its Birmingham office from Edgbaston to 63 Church Street to increase the size of its office and its presence in central Birmingham, and to enhance client service.
Kevin Harris-James, Partner and Head of Family Law in Birmingham, says: “We are delighted to move into the city centre in first class premises. The Midlands remains a core part of our business, as we continue to evolve as a law firm and our Birmingham office reflects the growing client demand for our services.
“We are known as a highly regarded family team in Birmingham and in addition have a specialist construction and planning team who are much in demand, along with our sister firm Medical Accident Group’s clinical negligence experts.”
Two floors, each of 3,645 sq ft, remain available at 63 Church Street which has been completely refurbished by Blue Marble. The ground floor suite is occupied by international beauty brand, Elemis, while the top floor is home to Lifetime Training Group.
“63 Church Street is high specification, fully refurbished modern office space behind a pleasing traditional façade, with basement parking in the heart of the professional quarter close to Snow Hill station and Colmore Row. It offers a good opportunity for a range of occupiers which want to be in a prime city office location,” says Amy Haywood, Senior Property and Asset Manager at Blue Marble.
