Colliers International’s Investment Property Management team in Birmingham is kicking off the year with a host of new client mandates, representing a combined contract value of £2 million over the next three years.
The 13-strong team has been awarded the contract to manage Stratford Town Trust’s commercial property estate. Following a comprehensive retender, Colliers retained the instruction and will continue to manage the mixed commercial Stratford based portfolio over the next three years.
Birmingham Wholesale Markets, the largest integrated wholesale market in the UK, has instructed Colliers International to manage its 240,000 sq ft state of the art facility at The Hub in Witton. The existing wholesale market will relocate to the new facility from Birmingham City centre in early 2018.
Midlands Property Management Company, Nurton Developments has also appointed the Investment Property Management team as managing agents on two multi-let office schemes. Colliers will manage the 71,000 sq ft Trigate House and 83,000 sq ft Lyndon Place which are both located on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre.
On the new contract wins, Martyn Edwards, Director, Head of Investment Property Management, Colliers International in Birmingham, said: “To retain a significant contract like Stratford Town Trust is a real coup for Colliers and to combine this with new mandates for high profile names such as Birmingham Wholesale Markets and Nurton, is just fantastic.
“Coming off the back of a time of uncertainty in the market, I am proud to be surrounded by a team of dedicated individuals who are all long standing team members. I believe it is this stability and consistency, coupled with a strong track record of property management accounting, that appeals to clients and has played a large part in our being awarded these significant mandates.”
