Construction is underway for a new phase of development at the 650-acre Westcott Venture Park site, located between Aylesbury and Bicester.
Rockspring Hanover Property Unit Trust will invest an estimated £2 million for the construction of a second phase of the Century Court development. The scheme will provide a further 21,000 sq ft of high specification industrial and warehouse accommodation over five units from 3,000 – 12,000 sq ft. Westcott Venture Park said it aims to open the new premises for occupation in summer 2018.
This follows on from the successful completion of the first phase of the Century Court development, which resulted in all seven units being fully occupied in just over a year after practical completion.
Units in the first phase were let to: Green Retreats, Home Power Electrical Services, ALNO (UK) Ltd, Samworth Brothers Ltd which will be trading as Ginsters, Antillion and fashion house DKNY.
Nigel MacKenzie, project manager at Westcott says: “We can now enter into meaningful discussions with existing tenants about their future requirements within our development plans as well as providing new space to attract new businesses. There are a number of businesses waiting to expand or locate here. These new buildings are designed to attract growing companies needing high quality facilities and access to trained staff and major road networks.”
Westcott Venture Park is now home to 76 businesses and provides employment space for more than 600 people and is managed by Lambert Smith Hampton.
Agents marketing the Century Court II development include: Lambert Smith Hampton, Chandler Garvey and Brown & Lee.
