A Bristol-based investor has acquired the freehold of the SOFA Project premises on Days Lane, in the St Philips area of Bristol.
The 6,961 sq ft warehouse property was sold by private vendors through property consultancy Alder King off a guide price of £550,000.
The SOFA Project, which collects, refurbishes and sells second hand furniture, electrical items and clothing, has leased the property for the past 15 years and will remain as tenants in the property.
Alder King associate Emma Smith says the property attracted a number of strong offers from local companies.
“The market continues to witness extremely robust demand for freehold opportunities, particularly those that have a generous yard area,” she said. “We were therefore able to secure a good price on behalf of our client, while also enabling SOFA Project to remain in the building.”
