Two plots of land on the strategically-located EOS section of Amesbury’s giant Solstice Park business area have been sold.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the sale of the industrial and distribution land on the remaining 2.09-acre EOS 1 site.
Quoting price for the land, Plot 1B North and Plot 1B South in Zone C on Solstice, was £375,000 an acre.
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “The parcels of land have been acquired by tea importers Imporient Ltd and by motor trade firms Andover MOT Supercentre (EOS 1B South West Side) and Express Motor Workshop (EOS 1B South East Side).
“They were sold on the basis that each company will construct its own purpose-built accommodation.
“This is continuing the current trend towards businesses seeking to build bespoke premises in order to secure buildings to suit their specific needs.
“EOS 1 has been in strong demand from to owner-occupiers or developers seeking a southern base linking into the south coast and south west regions.”
A further plot, EOS2, measuring 8.6 acres, can provide units from 50,000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft on either leasehold or freehold basis. Alternatively, the plot can be purchased for self-build.
