Over 100 guests came along to GBR Phoenix Beard’s inaugural alumni reception, including namesakes Colin Beard, a founding member of the business, and Richard Phoenix, the son of Tony Phoenix.
GBR Phoenix Beard managing director Simon Farrant raised a toast to colleagues past and present at the reception which took place at the company’s Grade II listed offices in The Exchange, Newhall Street, Birmingham saying:
“As a business we have been through enormous change since we were established over 40 years ago. Our current success is founded to a large extent on the foundations laid by our former colleagues, and the alumni reception is all about celebrating the origins of the company. It is humbling to see so many good friends, many of whom have travelled a considerable distance to be here. Such is the goodwill of GBR Phoenix Beard’s alumni community that we continue to work closely with many of our former colleagues long after they have moved on to pastures new.”
