Colliers International has agreed a deal which will see global advertising agency, Spark44 take an additional 14,176 sq ft of space on the 3rd floor of Norfolk House in Birmingham.
Fronting Smallbrook Queensway, Norfolk House is located next to the recently refurbished Birmingham New Street Station and opposite the Bullring shopping centre.
This latest deal takes Spark44’s occupation at Norfolk House up to 32,894 sq ft in total. The global advertising agency first took space at Norfolk House in 2015, following a change in ownership.
Sam Cooke, Senior Surveyor at Colliers International’s Birmingham Offices team, said: “Spark44’s continuing involvement with Jaguar Land Rover as their flagship client means their Birmingham office is an integral part of the agency’s global network. Norfolk House, with its great location close to New Street Station, has served the agency well over the past two years, and as their creative teams develop, taking extra space at Norfolk House was a crucial step to continue their support of Jaguar Land Rover.”
The letting follows the landlord’s recent completion of a £3 million comprehensive refurbishment of the void offices, reception and stair core and provides one of the few locations in the city that can offer large Grade A single user floor plates.
Marcus Waters, UK Finance Director, Spark44, added: “Norfolk House has met our requirements perfectly since we first took occupation in 2015 and with further recent investment from the building owners, which has since completed a full refurbishment of the building to improve the overall look and feel of the office suites and common areas, we were happy to be able to expand our occupancy within what is a now a more contemporary working environment for our growing Midlands team.”
Cushman & Wakefield and GVA are joint agents for Norfolk House. Colliers advised Spark44.
