Following the launch of the first ever Wales HR Awards in March, the success of a number of inspiring seminars and workshops run throughout the year and the latest announcement of new categories added to the 2018 Wales HR Awards, it is time for the Wales HR Network to celebrate.
On Thursday 30th November, the Wales HR Network, created and run by Acorn and Darwin Gray, will kick-start the festivities in Cardiff with its Christmas Event. Guests are invited to enjoy prosecco and nibbles, while hearing from key speaker Georgina Jones, founder of Turn Lights On, who will share some motivational tips and tricks to engage with and inspire the HR workforce.
Award-winning coach Georgina Jones is a renowned motivational author and writer. With her practice Turn Lights On, she has helped thousands of people improve their happiness and effectiveness, in and outside the workplace.
Developed by Darwin Gray, a leading full service commercial law firm, and Acorn, Wales’ leading specialist recruitment and training agency, the Wales HR Network is the essential platform to stay ahead in HR.
Maria Larcombe, Director of Operations in South Wales, Acorn, said: “We’re really looking forward to this event – it’s a great opportunity for HR professionals to meet the 2017 Wales HR Award Finalists and Winners, particularly as the entries are now open for the 2018 Awards. We’re also delighted to welcome Georgina Jones to celebrate with us. The success of her coaching programme reflects the depth of her expertise, and there is no doubt the attendees will benefit from Georgina’s enlightening insight.
Fflur Jones, Partner and head of Employment and HR at Darwin Gray, said: “We have been blown away with the success of the Wales HR Network and Awards this year, and what better way to celebrate than to kickstart the Christmas festivities with Georgina’s tips for engagement and motivation.
“After all, this is what the Wales HR Network is about; to provide a platform for HR professionals to share and learn best practice on topical issues from each other, and from highly regarded speakers in informal, yet informative seminars.
“We are looking forward to continuing to deliver fantastic events across Wales for HR professionals as we head into 2018.”
The event will take place from 6pm-8pm on Thursday 30th November, at 29 Park Place, Cardiff. Free tickets can be booked here
