Property advisor JLL has appointed four surveyors across its Manchester-based cost management, property and asset management and building consultancy teams.
Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Andrew Kan has joined the cost management team with 13 years’ experience gained across the transport, commercial, hospitality and industrial sectors in the UK and Singapore.
The dedicated North West cost management service was set-up last year after Matt Handley was appointed as associate director to develop the specialism in the region. JLL, which has a 40-strong cost management team nationally, is growing the regional offering to meet demand from increased development in Manchester.
In addition, Siobhan Ellis has been recruited to the property and asset management team as senior surveyor. She brings more than five years’ experience and joins from building consultancy and property management firm, Workman.
Meanwhile, JLL’s building consultancy team has appointed Sulthan Mahmud and Ashley Parkinson as building surveyors.
Sulthan has more than 11 years’ experience working on multi-million pound projects. He joins from architecture and building consultancy AHR, with sector experience including healthcare, commercial, residential, defence, industrial and leisure. Ashley joins the team following five years at the Salford Quays office of Rider Levett Bucknell.
David Lathwood, lead director for JLL in the North West, said: “We are continuing to attract new talent, as we broaden our offer to clients in the region. These latest appointments reflect strong demand for the work of our specialist teams and Andrew, Siobhan, Sulthan and Ashley each bring a wealth of diverse experience to the Manchester office.”
