The Hotels & Leisure Division of Goadsby are pleased to announced the sale of two private hotels in Southern Road, Southbourne.
Facing each other, Alexander Lodge and Fielden Court Hotels have been independently purchased by two families both new to the hotel industry and both seeking a comfortable home with the lifestyle a B & B operation can provide.
The hotels are conveniently located between Southbourne Grove shopping thoroughfare and the cliff top which in each case was a major attraction.
Divisional Director, Ian Palmer, commented, “Both Alexander Lodge and Fielden Court are typical of the size and nature of business that attracts the strongest demand traditionally. The current climate has had a very severe impact on this sector of the market with, in real terms, virtually no bank funding available. However, the robust trading in Bournemouth has surprised many commentators and I am sure both of the new owners will make a success of their recently acquired businesses”.
