Leading sports retailer, DW Sports, has chosen intu Metrocentre in Gateshead as the ideal place to launch its 15,000 sq ft flagship store.
The sports clothing and equipment retailer, which is part of the DW Fitness First Group, will stock the latest gear from top quality performance brands including Nike, Adidas and Under Armour at Europe’s largest covered retail and leisure destination.
Matt Sharpe, retail director at DW Sports, said: “Whilst the DW Fitness First Group already operate many stores and gyms across the UK, this is our first store in a major scheme.
