Leading South West property consultants Alder King have let the last remaining office suite at Marine View Office Park to existing occupier Viper Innovations.
Viper, which was recently awarded the title of 2017 West of England Business of the Year for its innovative technological advancements to the subsea oil and gas industry, first moved to the business park in 2014 after outgrowing its previous premises in Portishead.
It first leased Unit 3a but following rapid expansion of both its product range and staff numbers, it has expanded its headquarters operation by leasing an additional 2,008 sq ft in the adjacent Unit 3b. It now occupies approximately 8,100 sq ft across both units.
Tom Dugay, associate at Alder King, commented: “It’s been very satisfying to witness Viper’s progression from its early days on the business park to the thriving and highly innovative company it is today. Its ongoing commitment to Marine View is testament to the business park’s strong credentials and to Portishead as a well-connected commercial location.
“We’re delighted to have delivered full occupation of the scheme on behalf of our client.”
Marine View Office Park provides 30,500 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation across four detached buildings, with excellent access to the M5, Bristol airport and Bristol city centre. Other occupiers at the scheme, which was developed in 2009, include Handelsbanken, Cyient and One Post (Postal Choices).
Alder King acted on behalf of the landlord George House Developments. Viper, which represented itself, agreed an eight year lease off a quoting rent of £15 per sq ft per annum.
