CWC Group’s Ivanhoe Business Park at Ashby-de-la-Zouch has been a huge success with a range of deals completed in recent times to cover industrial, distribution, office and ancillary sectors.
The last few available buildings on the site, comprising a range of offices available to purchase or rent from as little 2,000ft² and upwards continue to receive interest with a number under offer already. The remainder of the site now though is fully developed following the completion of a bespoke built 36,000ft² storage and production facility for TruNet (UK) Ltd.
Tim Gilbertson of FHP, agent on the scheme along with Phil Randle of Salloway commented:
“My client and I first went to see TruNet some time ago when they were faced with a difficult decision. Having outgrown their site in Measham they needed to relocate to a bespoke facility and in doing so that relocation had to be within an acceptable travel distance, to ensure their valued staff stayed with the company, in order to ensure a seamless transition to a new site.
This challenge was exacerbated by their very specific building layout requirements which effectively precluded them from taking an existing building.
Therefore, when we were able to put in front of them the potential for relocation to Ivanhoe Business Park, a location within their compass and one where a bespoke layout and property could be constructed, this seemed like a marriage made in heaven and pleasingly the end result, which sees TruNet relocate to Ivanhoe Business Park certainly proves this ideal scenario to be true.”
James Richards, Development Director of CWC Group commented:
“We were delighted to facilitate TruNet’s relocation to Ivanhoe Business Park, a further high calibre occupier added to our ever-expanding business park.
Given the specific requirements that TruNet had, a design and build or build to suit solution seemed to be the only route forward and it was great to deliver a building meeting the exacting requirements of TruNet and deliver to them a fantastic facility.
Stuart Revill, Managing Director of TruNet said, “This is a very exciting new acquisition for us. The new resources within this building will provide a centre of excellence for our Technical Team to produce unique products to our Customers individual specifications. Stuart continued “As a company, we are committed to continual investment and with our multiple manufacturing sites across the globe, including this exciting new facility, we continue to maintain our position as the World’s number one manufacturer of netting, loops and twines.”
