Leeds-based Castlehouse Construction has completed an extensive £240k office refurbishment at Maple House in York’s Clifton Park.
The eight-week project, carried out on behalf of Schroder Real Estate Management, included a complete strip-out of the top two floors of an office block to create contemporary, open-plan work space.
The renovation also added new suspended ceilings, air conditioning and modernisation of the toilets and shower room for occupiers. Communal areas have also been redecorated with new coverings and carpets.
Richard Lumley, Director, Castlehouse Construction said: “We are delighted to complete the upgrade of this office building in York’s premier business park, close to the City Centre. The modernisation work in key areas of the building has created an enhanced working environment and attractive Grade A office space for existing and potential occupiers.”
Dan Stallard, Project Manager, MHBC commented
“The works were completed in a professional manner and to a good standard. Castlehouse’s common sense approach allowed them to be effective and flexible to incorporate changes to the original specification of works.”
