Casual dining and fast food outlet Roosters Piri Piri has opened in the centre of Nottingham following a letting by national property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).
LSH has let premises at 4-5 Angel Row, Nottingham – formerly the Bella Italia restaurant – to Roosters Piri Piri. The chain is well established in London and the south east, and is now opening outlets nationwide. Roosters Piri Piri has taken on a 15 lease of the ground floor and basement from a private landlord, and will create approximately six full time and eight to 10 part time jobs.
Following the Nottingham deal, LSH has been retained by London Food Service, parent company of Roosters Piri Piri, as it continues its expansion throughout the UK, with plans to open 20 new outlets this year.
Alex Nix, retail specialist at LSH Nottingham, said: “This property is in an excellent, central position and is situated in a well-established leisure pitch. We are delighted to have let it to such a high profile occupier on behalf of our clients, and even more pleased that the chain has chosen LSH to help their countrywide expansion plans.”
Khalid Mirza, managing director of Roosters Piri Piri, said, “Roosters has a very ambitious plan for expansion and we have partnered with Lambert Smith Hampton to help us fulfil our business objectives.”
