Fiona Bellamy has been promoted to director level and Matt Brear to associate level at Dacres Commercial, which is part of leading property company Dacre, Son & Hartley. There are a total of 16 Directors at the firm, which employs 167 people across 21 offices.
Fiona is a respected Commercial Valuation and Landlord and Tenant Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience in the commercial property sector. She has worked at Dacres for 10 years within the firm’s Healthcare Division, based in the Leeds office.
Matt is a qualified Chartered Surveyor who is responsible for the Commercial Agency operation and assists Jonathan Isles in the land and development team. He has been with the firm 7 years and is also based in Leeds.
Matt says: “No day is ever the same within our busy commercial agency operation. We act for a wide array of landlords and tenants from individuals to larger scale commercial investors, property companies and pension funds looking to invest in the region. At the start of the year I was promoted to Senior Surveyor, and this recent additional promotions means a great deal to me.
“Over the past 3 years, I have sold or let over 100,000 sq ft of office space within the LS29 area. The variety of my work also means that I have been involved in development and investment projects across the Yorkshire region, which is a side to the role which I really enjoy.”
Fiona says: “I specialise in the primary healthcare and pharmacy sectors, undertaking professional rent review and lease renewal work on medical centre and pharmacy premises across the UK, as well as providing valuation advice on primary healthcare properties and portfolios for accounting and secured lending purposes and GP partnerships. Our clients include a number of major institutional investors, property companies, GP clients and the major lending banks.

The Healthcare team has had a very successful year concluding more than 100 GP medical centre and pharmacy rent reviews, undertaking approximately £1 billion worth of primary healthcare valuations, and successfully completing over £70m of medical centre investment sales in the last 4 months alone. In addition, we manage an extensive portfolio of specialist primary healthcare buildings spread across England.”
