A leading developer and manufacturer of medical simulation training products has leased additional warehouse space adjacent to its current premises in Bristol to facilitate on-going expansion.
Limbs & Things has been headquartered on Sussex Street in St Philips for the past 16 years. Following a period of significant growth, it has now taken the former Stayfast Shopfitting premises at Unit 1, 57 Days Road, increasing its manufacturing and storage capacity by 7,000 sq ft.
Limbs & Things was established in 1990. Its first products were 3-D anatomical models of the foot, spine and soft tissue. Working in close collaboration with clinical experts, it now offers an extensive portfolio of realistic medical training products for healthcare professionals and students worldwide.
It has taken the 7,000 sq ft unit on a 10 year lease after agreeing terms with the landlord David Sampson Ltd through Alder King.
Alder King’s Emma Smith said Limbs & Things had been determined to find suitable premises close to its Sussex Street headquarters and was prepared to wait for the right property to become available.
“The shortage of good quality industrial accommodation in and around Bristol had made Limbs & Things’ search for additional premises longer than they had hoped. When this property became available, offering good quality space directly adjacent to their existing base, it was a natural fit for them.”
Limbs & Things represented itself in the transaction.
