Amsterdam-born creative workspace pioneer Spaces has announced that it will be opening a 17,868 sq ft work hub in the historic city of Bath. The workspace will be located across the second and third floors of Northgate House which is situated at the junction of the High Street with Upper Borough Walls and Bridge Street.
Spaces was created to offer professionals a working environment with a unique entrepreneurial ethos and its centres are designed to meet the varied workplace requirements of today’s businesses. The new Bath site will house a large, open- plan co-working area, along with meeting rooms available to hire and over 100 private offices.
Spaces Bath will be located in close proximity to Bath’s famous city centre shopping, Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. Bath Spa Railway Station is also within a short walk, providing direct train services to major south-west centres, including Bristol, along with London Paddington.
Since being founded in 2006, the company’s presence has expanded rapidly and its global footprint now spans more than 25 countries. This includes the USA, Singapore, India, France and Mexico. Since its launch in the UK in 2015, the company has opened eight centres in locations including London, Glasgow, Liverpool and Brighton and plans to open several more in the coming months.
Richard Morris, UK CEO, Spaces, comments: “The beautiful city of Bath is a sought-after location for many firms, as it combines the cachet of an historic, upmarket location with a thriving business and tech scene and fantastic transport links. This makes it the perfect fit for one of our Spaces hubs and we’re excited to be establishing a presence here.”
