A major refurbishment program in excess of half a million pounds is being carried out at a modern Bristol business park following the departure of work wear firm Alexandra.
Property consultancy Jones Lang LaSalle acting jointly with Russell Property Consultants has already let a newly refurbished unit to expanding Bristol business A La Carte Flooring at Quadrant Business Park, Almondsbury, just off the M5 and M4/M5 interchange.
A La Carte Flooring, which is a family run business with over 45 years in the flooring industry, has signed a five year lease for a 9,777 sq ft unit. Terry Peirce, Director of A La Carte Flooring says:
“This is a fantastic location for us as we continue to grow our business and seek to attract greater trade and retail customers. The newly refurbished modern premises offer a great space for our showroom with plenty of parking for staff and customers and easy access to the motorway networks.”
Four further units, offering between 10,000 sq ft and 80,000 sq ft of accommodation, will be available following a comprehensive refurbishment due for completion by the end of the summer in an area that currently faces a shortage of high quality modern industrial units. The location and refurbishment program will make them an excellent offer for all industrial and warehousing uses.
Chris Miles, Associate Director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s industrial team, said:
“The investment and refurbishment by the landlord at Quadrant Business Park shows a strong commitment which is already paying off, delivering a new tenant in A La Carte Flooring and helping to breathe new life back into the site after the departure of Alexandra.
Rob Russell, Managing Director of Russell Property Consultants, adds:
“There is a shortage of good quality industrial units in the North Bristol area and we are the closest availability to the M4/M5 able to accommodate demand from 10,000 sq ft up to 80,000 sq ft. The added investment by the landlord makes the four units a high quality opportunity for an occupier with proven results.”
