Williams Gunter Hardwick and their joint agents Colliers International have concluded a trio of lettings at Equinox North in Almondsbury – demonstrating a healthy out-of-town Bristol office market.
Bristol-based business finance specialists Ultimate Finance Group have taken 12,078 sq ft of refurbished first floor space on a new 10-year lease at the Equinox North office development in Almondsbury Park. They are moving from nearby offices, doubling the space they occupy in the process, following a deal negotiated by joint agents Williams Gunter Hardwick and Colliers International.
Ultimate Finance Group is backed by the Tavistock Group, an international private investment organisation founded by Joe Lewis. They work in close partnership with the British Business Bank – a government-backed initiative that aims to increase the supply of funding to small businesses. Over the past 16 years they have provided over £1 billion in funding to thousands of businesses of all shapes and sizes, across all industry sectors.
In a second deal at Equinox North, business communication specialists Crowthorne Associates have taken space on the ground floor.
In a final deal that sees the property fully let, Engie Services Holdings Ltd has taken a 10-year lease on a refurbished ground floor suite of 5,406 sq ft. Engie are relocating from East Bristol and doubling the size of their Bristol office. They employ more than 150,000 people globally and provide energy to homes and businesses in over 70 countries.
Mike Woodliffe from Williams Gunter Hardwick said: “These lettings to high quality occupiers demonstrates the current strength of the market and highlights the quality of accommodation offered at Equinox North. These companies have ambitious growth plans and we are really pleased that they have chosen Equinox to provide them with a base for the future.
“Furthermore, it’s great news for the property owner who now has a fully-let building with quality occupiers”
James Preece from joint agents Colliers International added: “Equinox North is one of only a few offices outside of Aztec West that offers large floor plates close to the M4/M5 interchange. It’s great to see the building fully let with excellent tenants and that has been a result of the landlord modernising Equinox – internally and externally.”
