Following a comprehensive refurbishment program undertaken by developers Dunmoore, a prominent trade counter scheme in Exeter’s Marsh Barton has now been fully let.
Hennock Trade Park, a 20,000 sq ft site situated in Exeter’s premier commercial area was acquired by Dunmoore in April 2016.
RecoverFit was secured as tenants for the final available unit on 6 October 2017, and joins businesses including new tenants Karcher, as well as established businesses Crown Paints, Electric Centre and Johnstone’s Decoration Centre within the development.
Matt Greenaway from Rapleys, who acted jointly with Stratton Creber Commercial, on behalf of Dunmoore, commented:
“The refurbishments undertaken by Dunmoore have positively transformed this trade counter scheme. The works have made this a prime example of responsible and effective property asset management which both attracted top tier tenants to the site, and boosted its rent profile. We are delighted that RecoverFit has joined Karcher in recognising the quality and potential of Hennock Trade Park, further enhancing the location’s commercial offering. ”
Dunmoore’s Managing Director, Jeffrey Hobby added:
“Following our purchase of Hennock Trade Park in 2016 from Railtrack we have extensively refurbished the estate to deliver much needed quality trade stock to the local market. The subsequent re-letting program has resulted in a fully occupied scheme with a significantly improved tenant profile and achieved record headline rents, up to 60% higher than at acquisition. The scheme fits in well with our expanding trade portfolio and we continue to look for similar opportunities within the market, with a further £25 million readily available for new acquisitions.”
