Grant Jamieson shortlisted for BCO NextGen Rising Star Award

Grant Jamieson, project manager in Ryden’s Aberdeen office, has been shortlisted for the BCO (British Council for Offices) NextGen Rising Star Scotland Award.

Grant has been shortlisted alongside two other professionals and the winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 15 November.

The BCO NextGen Awards are an industry wide programme highlighting the achievements of young professionals in the commercial property sector. The Rising Star Award acknowledges the outstanding contribution to the office sector by an individual under 35.

Grant is being recognised for his significant role in supporting the project management of the delivery of multi-million pound office development projects in Aberdeen, including Drum Property Group’s Prime Four business park. Grant’s ongoing work as part of Ryden’s consultant project management team for Aberdeen City Council’s Union Terrace Gardens project and his leading role in managing the delivery of Total E&P UK Limited’s 118,000 sq ft office fit out at Westhill also contributed to his nomination.

Bill Duguid, managing partner at Ryden, said: “Grant’s nomination is extremely well-deserved and a reflection of the outstanding work that he has delivered for our clients.  At such an early stage in his career Grant has been instrumental in aligning the Aberdeen market to the advantages of the BCO Guide and embracing and encouraging new and emerging office sector initiatives. I look forward to seeing Grant continue to shape and lead many more major development projects in the future.”

Grant Jamieson commented: “I am absolutely taken aback by this nomination. The BCO NextGen awards celebrate the rising stars and future leaders in the office sector and it is a real privilege to be recognised in this way.  The support I have received from the entire project management team since joining Ryden has been instrumental to the successes that I have achieved.”
