Budding intern Will Primrose is learning how the experts do it at London Clancy’s Southampton office.
Will, 21, graduated from his estate management course at Oxford Brooks University last year and to gain experience with an agency specialising in commercial property transactions, has joined London Clancy..
Sharing their expertise gathered over many years are Director Chris Ridge and Head of Agency David Heda.
“It’s a great way of putting the theory into practice,” said Will, who has moved to Southampton.
“I’m enjoying my time here and I’ve had the chance to do everything from going on viewings to writing marketing details.”
Chris explained London Clancy was delighted to help Will gain some vital experience – and he and David were happy to share important insight gained over many years.
“It’s great to be able to give Will an insight into the business. It’s important to make the work meaningful so Will gets as much out of his time here as possible,” he said.
Will said he particularly enjoyed meeting clients and developing the portfolio skills necessary to succeed in the business.
“I would recommend doing an internship to any graduates who are just starting out – I really am getting to see every aspect of the business.
“My aim is to be able to answer all the questions clients may have to the best of my ability,” he said.
And David admitted the learning process was a two-way street as Will had been able to give them a few pointers when it came to harnessing the power of social media.
“It’s great that we can learn from Will – and hopefully he will gain a lot from being with us too,” he said.
