Acting on behalf of Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership, Keningtons are pleased to announce they have sold Rowan House to First City Nursing Services.
The property was vacated by the Trust as part of its strategy to reduce the size of its estate to make revenue savings and to modernise services.
Jeremy Sutton, Partner at Keningtons, comments “Rowan House is a two storey office building which is situated close to the Sandlewood Court hospital complex at Stratton St. Margaret. The property is a self-contained building providing 2,353 sq.ft. of accommodation. We received enquiries for a variety of uses and eventually sold the property to First City Nursing Services following a best bid process.
Stephen Trowbridge, Operations Director of First City Nursing Services adds “We have been looking to purchase a freehold office property for some time but wanted something which would give us our own identity, First City has grown from strength to strength over the last 2 years, we provide Health and Social Care services to individuals within their own homes as well as short and long term staffing solutions to establishments around Swindon and Wiltshire. We intend to use Rowan House as our training base to support the 400 staff we employ, First City is passionate in developing individuals to meet the needs of our client base. Our sister Company, First City Training, one of Swindon’s Sector Based work Academy’s, has a government contracts to offer apprenticeships to young people looking for a career in Care”.
