Cushman & Wakefield has recruited a second Director from CBRE Hotels, Brien Giuntini, as a Partner in its EMEA Hospitality team.
The appointment of Giuntini, who will start at Cushman & Wakefield in mid-October, follows Rob Seabrook’s resignation from CBRE’s Hotels Capital Markets team as an Executive Director in August. Seabrook will start at Cushman & Wakefield in early 2018.
Giuntini has more than 10 years’ investment experience focused on hotel real estate, handling both single asset and portfolio sales across EMEA. Based in Frankfurt, he will work closely with the London-based transaction team, to be headed by Seabrook, as well as continental Europe hotels investment Partner Frederic le Fichoux in Prague.
Notable recent transactions handled by Seabrook and Giuntini include the sale of the Hilton T4 Heathrow for £80m to Pandox and the Fitzpatrick hotel portfolio in Dublin for €150m, as well as the sales of Hilton Wembley and The Lowry in Manchester.
Brien Giuntini, who will join as Partner – Hotels Investment, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “This is a very exciting time to join Cushman & Wakefield, while they are expanding their EMEA Hospitality business. I look forward to bolstering their existing pan-European brokerage capability and adding value to the EMEA client base.”
Jon Hubbard, Head of Hospitality EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Brien has a proven track record in executing complex pan-EMEA sales mandates, which, coupled with his corporate finance experience, will greatly strengthen our EMEA Hospitality offer to clients. I am delighted he will be joining Rob and the existing Hospitality team, as the next step in our growth strategy for the sector. His location in Frankfurt is significant as we scale up our hospitality practice across EMEA.”
