Property management and surveying firm Scanlans has strengthened its Birmingham office with the appointment of Gordon Harrow as a senior building surveyor.
Gordon has extensive experience across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, leisure and social housing.
He has previously worked at Cushman & Wakefield and Faithful + Gould, as well as at West Midlands Police and HSBC.
Gordon joins a 20-strong team in Scanlans’ office in Knowle, near Solihull.
Meanwhile Chris Jones has been promoted to associate in the property management department. He joined Scanlans in 2014 as a senior property manager.
Neil Inman, the partner who heads the office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gordon, whose experience and skills will enhance the services we already offer to clients.
“His arrival further strengthens our team, following Colin Whelan’s recent appointment to head our commercial rating service.
“Chris’s promotion follows considerable growth in the number of developments we manage in the Midlands region over recent years and reflects his contribution to helping Scanlans expand this quality service.”
Gordon said: “I am delighted to join Scanlans and look forward to helping to grow and develop the building surveying side of the business.”
