Whilst their products are designed to help dieters shed inches, Tim Gilbertson of FHP has helped Slimming World add feet and metres, by agreeing terms leading to their occupation of over 40,000ft² of prime distribution space at Junction 28 of the M1.
Acting on behalf of Legal & General a thorough marketing campaign quickly found the ideal occupier for this superb building set just off Junction 28 of the M1 at its intersection with the A38, leading to a deal being concluded with Slimming World to meet their needs for further storage space in the region.
Tim Gilbertson commented:
“Having acted on behalf of Legal & General on some of their other disposals in the region previously, I was delighted to be asked to offer this property to the market. Set in a prime position just off the ever popular Junction 28 of the M1, close to its intersection with the A38, this building offers high calibre warehouse space with two storey offices all set on a large fenced and gated site.
Given the lack of space in the market and the ongoing good levels of demand we have encountered throughout 2017, I was optimistic of a quick disposal and pleasingly this proved to be the case.
Having met Slimming World a few times previously and knowing of their quest for additional storage capacity given their ongoing expansion, it was great to bring them to this unit as it clearly fitted the bill for their needs. I managed to confirm and agree terms swiftly enabling them to occupy the building on a new lease.
Yet again it has been a case of knowing ‘who is in the market’ as this market knowledge enabled me to quickly find the right style and indeed calibre of occupier for this prestigious building.
I wish Slimming World well in this property for the future.”
Tim Gilbertson concluded by adding:
“This is the second letting of 40,000ft² I have completed at Junction 28 within the last couple of months and I have a third one lined up to complete shortly. Yet again we are seeing good quality well presented space being let quickly and at strong rents in this market, showcasing again the strength of this location with its excellent north/south and indeed east/west access.
Both manufacturing and distribution companies have been accommodated in buildings as a result of these deals and the location continues to thrive from a property perspective, with the market now being in dire need of additional space.
I would love to speak to any potential landlords or vendors who have space in the region, of literally any size, but particularly larger warehousing or industrial units as space truly is at a premium now and it would be nice to have more stock to offer to meet the ongoing demand we receive for buildings in the region.”
