Savills Cardiff has announced plans to relocate in early November to 2 Kingsway, a Grade A office building in Cardiff city centre, with all 50 staff moving from its existing office at 12 Windsor Place.
The international real estate advisor has agreed a new 10 year lease on 5,848 sq ft (543 sq m) of space on the fifth floor of the building. The property has been comprehensively refurbished by the Ardstone Regional Office Fund, a programmatic venture funded by clients of CBRE Global Investment Partners (CBRE GIP), and provides spectacular views over Cardiff Castle. Savills Cardiff currently occupies 4,200 sq ft (390 sq m) at 12 Windsor Place where it has been in occupation since 2007.
Chris Potts, head of Savills Cardiff, comments: “The move to 2 Kingsway is very positive for Savills. It is in response to the impressive growth the Cardiff office has experienced over the last 10 years, with the staff growing from 15 to 50 and provides room for future expansion as we introduce additional services. The location is ideal and the landlord’s high quality refurbishment has created excellent space for our staff and first-rate client facilities.”
Rhydian Morris, Director of JLL Cardiff, adds: “2 Kingsway provides a high quality Grade A office specification, which has been designed specifically to meet the requirements of the financial and professional services sector. We are delighted to have secured Savills as the first tenant in the building and we look forward to announcing other occupiers shortly.”
JLL advised the Ardstone Regional Office Fund.
