The major new development proposed at J24 M5 at Bridgwater has received a major boost; property expert Phil Wade of Katmar Properties has joined up with Geoff Revell to deliver the Bridgwater Gateway scheme. Phil needs little introduction as one of the most familiar faces around the South West property market; having been actively involved in some of the most exciting developments and property deals across the West Country in recent years.
Phil Wade commenting on the development said “Bridgwater Gateway is one of the largest and most exciting projects in the south west of England; the company is striving forward with ambitious plans to invest in excess of £100m into the local economy with this development”.
The highly prominent 90 acre scheme was recently granted planning consent as a major new business location at the entrance to Bridgwater from J24, M5. The site will be able to cater for all types of companies across the region. The development will enhance skilled employment opportunities, improve facilities and create a venue for new businesses to both serve existing and future demand in a high quality environment. There will be a particular focus on providing accommodation for the New Nuclear Industry in the light of the impending £14bn investment by EDF.
Work is anticipated to start on site with initial infrastructure works in September.
